This project has as main objectives the development of an autonomous trading system with the following main characteristics:

• Automatic collection of data
• Construction of predictive models of the future evolution of the prices
  
• Decisions concerning trading actions (based on the predictions of the models and other factors)
• Notification of the decisions in real time

The project is motivated by enormous amount of freely available information on the markets, the development of data mining techniques and by the low price of computational power.

The project went through a first phase where a software prototype was developed and tested in real time during 1,5 years. Based on the results of this test phase two has started with the goal of developing a more realistic trading system.
